Aesthetic Photo Pro

Export and recovery · Local-only release

Keep a separate copy

This app does not upload or automatically back up your library. App-managed records are excluded from automatic device/iCloud backup. Device loss, damage, app deletion or erasing the device can destroy the only copy. Export regularly to a practice-approved secure destination.

What is in the archive

The TAR archive contains original photos, records.json with patients, visits and history, patients.csv and a hash manifest. Open the TAR with a compatible archive utility on a computer to retrieve its contents. Never delete the source library merely because an archive was prepared; check the saved copy first.

Space and interruptions

Preparing an archive needs additional free device space approximately equal to the original library plus records. If export fails, free space outside this app and try again. Keep the app open and unlocked until preparation finishes. Existing originals are not removed by an export failure.

Restoring into the app

This release exports open files for retrieval and transfer; it does not offer one-tap archive re-import or cloud recovery. Original photos can be imported into new visits, but importing photos does not reconstruct all patient history.

Sharing and subscriptions

Export remains available after subscription expiry. Exported archives contain patient information and are not password-protected by this app. Use an approved secure destination. Other apps and storage providers control any copies you choose to send to them.
