Aesthetic Photo Pro

Support and getting started · Local-only release

1. Protect this device

Use a device passcode and Face ID or Touch ID. Aesthetic Photo Pro locks when it enters the background. Keep your device updated and follow your practice’s access procedures.

2. Start a patient record

With an active subscription, open Patients and tap +. Enter a name and an optional unique clinic reference. Confirm identity and photography permission before each new series. The confirmation is not a signed consent form.

3. Capture a baseline

Choose a photo series and review its guidance. Capture or import each view. Wait for Saved locally before moving on. An unfinished original remains in the capture screen for retry; resolve a save error before leaving.

4. Return and compare

Open the baseline visit and choose Start a matching return visit. Capture matching views, then compare with the baseline using side-by-side or reveal and synchronized zoom. Originals are never retouched.

5. Export regularly

Open Practice → Export all records. Keep the app open while the archive is prepared, then choose Save or share archive → Save to Files. Choose a secure destination separate from this app and check that the file is present. Preparing an archive alone does not create an external backup.

What this release includes

Local patient and visit records, guided still-photo capture, JPEG/HEIC/PNG import, return-visit comparisons and original-record archive export. Cloud sync, team accounts, patient links, messaging, signed forms, treatment annotations and branded/video output are not included.

A photo did not save

Keep the capture screen open and use Retry saving original. Check free device storage and keep the device unlocked. Do not delete the app to troubleshoot; its records are local.

Photos appear missing

Confirm you are using the same device and patient record. Open Practice and inspect Recovery review if shown. Restart and unlock the app once. There is no cloud library to sign into, and reinstalling will not restore photographs.

Subscription trouble

Open Practice → Subscription → Restore purchases using the Apple Account that purchased the subscription. Check your connection and Apple subscription settings. Canceling renewal leaves access active through the paid period; your saved records and export remain available afterward.

Prepare a support request

Include the build number shown in Practice, device model, iOS version, the action that failed and the exact error message. Use synthetic examples. Do not include patient names, photographs, original records, archive files or unredacted screenshots.

Before removing the app

Save and verify a separate archive first. Removing the app can delete your only copy. It does not cancel your Apple subscription. For export instructions, open Practice → Export and recovery help.
